Dining
Ahhhh, food! For a town of only 6000 people, Todos Santos is blessed with an abundance of dining delights.
Fruits and vegetables are fresh, organic and local. Dorado, snapper, mussels, shrimp, scallops, sierra, grouper and other fish are delivered daily by fishermen who work out of pangas (small boats). Talented chefs from Mexico and around the world work their magic on these ingredients.
There are fine Mexican restaurants, of course. Or, opt for Italian, Spanish, French or Asian fusion cuisine. Many other delights await your discovery. For example, after dinner stroll the main street to try one of 50 flavors of ice cream that has been handmade by the same family for more than 80 years.
Street food in Todos Santos is a deliciously enjoyable experience. Savor famous Baja fish or shrimp tacos prepared right before your eyes, served piping hot on a fresh corn tortilla. Carnitas, chile rellenos and other dishes are fresh, inexpensive and easy to find at several locations. Pull up a chair and watch the street scene. Buen provecho!
