Outdoor Activities: The Best of Two Seas
Located on the Pacific Ocean, but within an easy one-hour drive of the Sea of Cortez, Todos Santos is a haven for all types of water-based activities.
February and early March is the height of whale-watching season in Todos Santos. It's easy to spot whales from any beach near town. Watch California grays and humpbacks and their babies as they swim, breach and tail-slap the water. You may also see manta rays, billfish, sea turtles and dozens of species of birds.
It's also not unusual to see beautiful "wild" horses atop the sand dunes, or even clip-clopping along a side street in town.
Using Todos Santos as your base, you can enjoy world-class:
• Bird watching
• Boating
• Golf
• Hiking
• Horseback riding
• Mountain biking
• Sea kayaking
• Scuba diving
• Snorkeling
• Sportfishing
• Surfing
Like most Mexican Towns, Todos Santos comes alive after dark. Bands play in the lighted plazas. Families stroll the streets. Young lovers hold hands in the park.
